Team of eight colleagues from Angus Soft Fruits take on Doddie’s Triple Crown Charity Cycle

In March 2026, a team of eight colleagues from Angus Soft Fruits — John Gray, David Cuthbert, Gordon Porter, Mark Birdsall, Imogen Paterson, Douglas Sleigh, Claire Donovan and Rosie Wallace — will take on Doddie’s Triple Crown – Rob Wainwright’s Ride, cycling more than 800 miles in four days to raise funds for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.

This challenge is deeply personal for us. One of our colleagues is currently living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), and that reality has strengthened our determination to do something meaningful. By taking on this extraordinary ride, we want to raise awareness, show solidarity and help fund the research needed to change outcomes for people living with this devastating condition.

Together, the team has set an ambitious fundraising target of £100,000, and we’re inviting our partners, customers and wider industry to join us in supporting their efforts.

Every donation helps fund vital research and brings hope to those affected by MND. We’ll be sharing more about the team’s preparation and progress over the coming months as they train for the challenge ahead.
